Easy to put together and all in one dish!
INGREDIENTS:
1 jar (26 to 28 oz) tomato pasta sauce (any variety)
1 package (25 to 27-1/2 oz) frozen cheese filled ravioli
2 C shredded mozzarella cheese (8 oz)
2 Tbl grated parmesan cheese
DIRECTIONS:
1. Heat ove to 350 degrees. Spray bottom and sides of 13 x 9 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
2. Sprad 3/4 C of the pasta sauce in baking dish. Arrange half of the frozen ravioli in single layer over sauce; top with half of the remaining pasta sauce and 1 C of the mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers once, starting with ravioli. Sprinkle wiht parmesant cheese.
3. Cover with foil. Bake 40 minutes. Remove foils and bake 15 to 20 minutes longer or until bubbly and hot in the center. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting!
VARIATIONS:
You can add 1 C sliced mushrooms, 1 box (9 oz) of frozen spinach (thawed and squeezed to drain), or 1-1/2 oz sliced pepperoni to the first layer of ravioli. You may also use meat-filled ravioli instead of the cheese filled variety if you prefer meat!
This recipe can be made in advance and covered tightly with foil - refrigerate up to 24 hours and then bake as directed.
