PORK CHOPS WITH MAPLE-APPLE GLAZE

INGREDIENTS:
1/4 C real maple syrup
1/4 C apple butter
1/2 tsp ground mustard
4 bone-in pork loin chops (1/2 to 3/4 inches thick), trimmed of fat
1/2 tsp garlic-pepper blend
1/4 tsp salt

DIRECTIONS:
1. Heat gas or charcoal grill. In 1-quart saucepan, mix syrup, apple butter, and mustard. Cook over low heat about 1 minutes, stirring occasionally, until well blended.
2. Sprinkle pork with garlic-pepper blend and salt; place on grill over medium heat. Brush with maple mixture. Cover grill; cook 10 to 12 minutes, turning and brushing with maple mixture two to three times, until pork is no longer pink and meat thermometer inserted in center reades 160 degrees. Discard any remaining maple mixture.
